The United States Ministry of Accredited Business Program & Education Certification (USEAAB) was established in response to university leaders' need for an accreditation process centered on mission-driven outcomes rather than rigid input-based standards. Initially, many four-year colleges in the U.S. offering business degrees lacked recognition from existing accrediting bodies, and similar challenges were faced by international institutions with their business programs.
Since its founding, USEAAB has emerged as a leading accreditation body, emphasizing excellence in teaching and learning. With over 200 member institutions and more than 800 accredited programs worldwide, USEAAB has made a significant impact in higher education accreditation. A key milestone was achieved in January 2011 when the Council for Higher Education Distance Learning Accreditation Association (CHEDLAA) officially recognized USEAAB, reinforcing its esteemed position.
USEAAB has grown into a crucial organization, accrediting colleges and universities worldwide that are dedicated to academic excellence in business education. Originating from a need to address the shortcomings of existing accreditation models, USEAAB has pioneered a shift towards outcome-focused evaluation. Universities that maintain the highest standards of education are eligible to receive a full accreditation certificate with the USEAAB seal, valid for five years. This seal signifies the institution's commitment to excellence and serves as a mark of distinguished recognition.
